In late 2009 the government
setup the Snowbrier containment facility in Boone County
Missouri to house people infected with a deadly virus
know as Humanus Fames Nine or HF9 for short. People infected
with HF9 become baseless animals with only the most primal
of instincts. They have no fear, no remorse and an insatiable
hunger for human flesh. In fact the only pain stimulus
that they will react too is light. Direct sunlight and
UV lights cause the infected extreme pain and discomfort
and can even lead to death.
The Snowbrier Containment Facility was created with the
latest in high tech UV lights along the perimeter. The
residence of Boone county were assured that with this
system no one infected with HF9 could escape...THEY WERE
WRONG! A power outage and failure of the backup generators
has caused a catastrophic breakdown in the containment
protocol and the infected have overrun the facility, escaping
into the surrounding area. Those affected are no longer
human, they are not your neighbors, they are not your
friends. If you see someone infected, shoot fast, shoot
true, and shoot to kill, do not hesitate, because they
will have no mercy on you!!!! The zombie apocalypse has
begun...

Safety
Boone county puts stringent requirements on us and we must
go through a complete inspection and approval process each year.
Fire Hazard Precautions
Flame retardant materials are used throughout to insure your
safety.
You won't find any toxic black plastic in our attraction. Our
haunted house has a full sprinkler system and security cameras
so we can monitor your progress through FEARFEST.
Emergency Exits
You will find emergency exits in many locations. In case of
an emergency, let it be a child who is too scared or something
worse, our crew members are trained to assist you to those exits.
EMT on staff
If a person or a child gets hurt, we have EMT's on staff for
your protection. people do run into walls and each other, we
simply want to make sure everybody is safe.
Much of your ticket price is spent on all of the safety measures
we take to ensure not only your comfort and safety but the safety
of our crew members.
Accessibility
Boone county requires our attraction to be ADA accessible.
If you are concerned about strobes or other health risks, please
feel free to contact us.
Health Risks
All ages are welcome but there are some health risks you need
to be aware of:
- Strobe lights are used throughout the attraction. Strobes
can trigger seizures in epileptics. If you are concerned about
seizures, we recommend you do not go through the attraction.
- High blood pressure and heart conditions are of a concern.
We are good at what we do and we want to make sure you leave
scared out of your wits. This is what you are paying us to
do. FEARFEST and other haunted houses may place a lot of stress
on your heart.

The House is handicap accessible at all times . If you need
